Hello! I am Alexa McLeod, a sophomore chemistry major with a minor in Arabic, from Dallas, Texas. I have always had a passion for making the world we live in, more sustainable and safe no matter where you live.  

 

This passion has led me to focus on pediatric and prenatal care due to countless research I've found about mothers and children worldwide not having access to proper healthcare, foods and water. Because of this, I have a long term goal of attending medical school with the focus of becoming a pediatrican which will allow me to work with families domestically and abroad. 

 

When I am not delving into research I enjoy writing novels, tutoring students and learning about varieties of cultures. I have also participated in various internships with the USDA and NOAA that have helped me to expand my knowledge and expertise in the world of pediatrics. 

 

I look forward to traveling abroad and having enriching experiences!
